Mangrove forest is well known as a unique ecosystem and it has also important function in supporting our human lives. However mangrove’s carbon storage is still poorly quantified. The estimated carbon stock in mangrove ecosystem is relatively large. It is a high potential ecosystem as carbon sinks in brackish water. This study aims to estimate carbon stock in logged-over mangrove forest at various age levels. Carbon stock is determined by measuring the living biomass using existing allometric equation and the percentage of C-organic of soil carbon is obtained from the laboratory analysis. The carbon stocks of tree in logged over area are 57.62, 65.22, 68.23, 89.13, 104.4, 101.38, 77.35 ton/ha of 5 months, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 years after harvesting activity, respectively. Compared to its natural mangrove forest, the logged over area will lost around 110 ton/ha after logging activity from 169.10 ton/ha. According to the 7 year observations after harvesting activity, the amount of carbon stock still cannot reached its initial value before the harvesting activity. But it can be observed in the 4th year after logging the carbon stock reach turning point at 104.4 ton/ha. The soil carbon until 30 cm depth is 118.16 ton/ha in average. Based on ANOVA analysis, the differences of C-organic percentage among 0-10 cm, 10-20 cm and 20-30 cm depth is not significant.
