Landuse conversion from oldgrowth rain forest to cropland such as oil palm plantation affects greatly on tropical ecosystems. As a solution for improvement and remediation of biodiversity and biological network on such degraded ecosystem, we made a trial of development corridor along the riverine of oil palm plantation in Malaysia by planting native and fruiting trees consisting of 9 tree species in 2003. We monitored tree groth of planted trees since then till present and estimated biomass increase there. Large differences in growth were found between species. The fastest growing trees in DBH and height was Artocarpus hispidus (0.312±0 (cm/month)) and Pometia pinnata (0.162±0.0194 (m/month)) respectively. We estimated that corridor forest gained 27.7 ton biomass during 8 years. Moreover, we evaluated forest biomass as carbon credit in REDD, and the carbon credit price of the present corridor forest was estimated as 415.4 US$.
