企業の生物多様性保全の取り組みTNFDの導入で生態学者はどう貢献していけるのか？【B】

2019年のダボス会議（世界経済フォーラム年次総会）では生物多様性の損失が、深刻度の高いグローバルリスクの第3位に位置付けられ、非常に大きな経済上のリスクとして認識された。そこでは、気候変動対策における気候関連財務情報開示タスクフォース（TCFD：Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures）に続き、生物多様性保全をめざし資金の流れをネイチャーポジティブに移行させる「自然関連財務情報開示タスクフォース」（TNFD: Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures）が発案された。現在、TNFDの枠組みや構築に関しては国際的に議論が進められており、2023 年 9 月に最終的な提言が発表される予定である。
　本シンポジウムでは、現在国際的に議論されているTNFDの枠組みや、ヨーロッパが中心となって議論されている生物多様性指標や評価方法に関する最新の情報をご紹介いただくとともに、民間企業、NPO、省庁、研究者など様々な立場からみたTNFDについてお話いただき、今後生態学者が地球規模での生物多様性保全の取り組みにどう貢献していけるかについて学び、考える機会をつくることを目的とする。
